SEA REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON SRI 2015  – 25 to 28 May 2015, TH Hotel, Alor Setar, Kedah.

The Malaysian Agroecology Society SRI-Mas will be organising a regional conference titled ‘SEA REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON SRI 2015’,   from 25 to 28 May 2015 at TH Hotel, Alor Setar, Kedah.  The pre-conference Rice IPM workshop will be conducted on the 25th May 2015 at the same venue. SRI-Mas 2015 will explore the avenues of garnering support and moving SRI forward through regional and international networks and communication with emphasis on supporting small scale farming, consumer health and farmer market networks. With the theme “Innovating Shared Values”, this conference is expected to boost and increase awareness among farmers, decision makers, policy makers and other stakeholders on the importance of shared values in promoting sustainable rice production and consumption at all levels.
