- Nominations of Executive Committee Member for Session 2021/2023
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Malaysian Water Partnership (MyWP) has been POSTPONED AND TO BE SCHEDULED as follows:
Date: 27nd April 2021, Tuesday
Time: 2.30pm
Venue: Online (Zoom Meeting) (Link and password have been sent to your email)
For your information, the tenure of the current Executive Committee (EXCOM) for the 2019/2021 session will expire at the conclusion of the AGM in April 2021. In accordance with Rule No. 9 of the MyWP Constitution, the EXCOM wishes to inform members that the posts of the 2021/2023 EXCOM members as listed below are open for nomination:
- Chairperson (1 post)
- Two Vice Chairpersons (2 posts)
- Treasurer (1 post)
- Ten Committee Members (as least 6 shall be Institutional) (10 posts)
Nomination for the above officers shall be proposed and seconded, and nominations will close by 12midnight on 19 April 2021. Elections will be held online. Kindly return the completed nomination forms to the Secretary, Ir. Noor Aishah binti Zaharin at [email protected] by 19 April 2021.
According to Rule No. 5(4), “All annual subscription shall be payable to the Treasurer in advance before the end of March” and 5(5), “Any member who allows his arrears to exceed one (1) years’ subscription……shall be denied the privileges of membership…” Therefore, it is important that the candidate, proposer and seconder renew their annual subscriptions before they are eligible to participate in the election exercise.
