Malaysian Water Partnership (MyWP) in collaboration with UNESCO-IHP Malaysia and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Malaysia will organize an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) course for Administrators and Water Managers, with the support of the Global Environment Center, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
The objectives of this training course are to: –
- improve understanding of the importance of integrated water resources management (IWRM) in planning and managing resources at the river basin level, and
- build confidence amongst administrative officers and managers in promoting integrated water resource management (IWRM) as a practical solution to address water-related issues at the state and district levels.
